Jazz on song for maiden tilt at Fiji International title | Bangkok Post: news

Fiji: Thai hotshot Jazz Janewattananond hopes to continue his resurgence with a good showing in his debut appearance at this week's Fiji International at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course. The 21-year-old will be in fine form after winning his first Asian Tour title at the Bashundhara Bangladesh Open in February and notching three top-10 results in his last four starts on the Asian Tour. "I haven't been to Fiji before but I have heard a lot of great things about the place. Jazz first played his way into the history books of the Asian Tour in 2010 when he became the youngest-ever player to make the halfway cut at the age of 14 years and 71 days. Other notable players in the elite field include major champions Vijay Singh of Fiji, Mike Weir of Canada and Angel Cabrera of Argentina.
